Okay, if you hate people who gush about their kids, you may want to stop reading. I had a moment yesterday. (I'm vaklempt, talk amongst yourselves!) The girls had an awards banquet for their swim team. Kimrie got the outstanding "coach" award. She was so excited, it was really cute. She got the award for being so teachable, doing what she's supposed to do, and working hard! She was really happy and she already has the plaque hanging on her wall. They were standing up on a stage and Kimrie's suprised face was so great when they called her name! Mallory on the other hand, is on the pre swim team and the coach said she is one of the best "splish"group kids he's ever had. He said he is really excited for her to move up and start racing, but she's not old enough yet. He also said she can do any stroke drill you ask her and that is very unusual for her age. So needless to say, we were so proud of them, and hope they keep working hard!
Yes, my child has her award upside down, I'm not sure where she gets her spacy moments from. Couldn't possibly be me!

Congratulations! I don't think my kids would ever want to do swim team stuff, but we'll see. When do you want to get together?
