This week was Kimrie's stage debut as cat #2! She did a marvelous job acting like a cat, scratching herself and playing with her tail. Unfortunately, it just looked like her costume was too itchy. But that is beside the point! She remembered her line, and did awesome. They acted out the childrens book The North Star, with all original music and lyrics by their music teacher. I was actually quite impressed, and had more than a few moments in the theatre where I was "vaklempt" I know that is spelled wrong, but just picture Mike Myers, that's who I was! Then, today we went to a dinner theatre (picture Shrek 3) to see a performance of Cats. There is a whole post all together about this experience, and it won't do it justice without pictures. So, next post I promise. Today was a swim meet for Kimrie, she only got DQ'd twice.... Not a happy camper indeed. All in all a great week for culture in the Binns family, even if it is Dinner theatre.
