Not much going on here.

We have a new nephew! Andy and Marylyn just had a baby boy! Gavin Paul Bjorn. He is super cute, and I can't wait to see him!
We got to spend a fun weekend in Colorado Springs with our family there. We had such fun playing with our nephews there. It's always nice to have a little vacation there. I really miss the Springs, and I can't wait to go back.
On another subject, I have hurt my knee running. I've never had knee pain before, usually just little stuff here and there. Anyway, does anyone have suggestions for knees?

Yuck! I hurt my knee 5 years ago while training for a half marathon. rather than taking it easy when it first started hurting I pushed through the pain until I couldn't even walk after finishing the race. DUMMY. Anyway. I still can't run for too long but the two things that have really helped is #1. Shoes - a good running store can put you in the right pair for you along with a good 2nd insole. #2. Pilates on the mat. I know it sounds strange but the leg exercises that you do while laying on your side strengthen your hips. A lot more women than men have knee problems because we have wide hips and the angle puts a lot of pressure on the knee. Hope it helps and you can get back to running.
