Yikers

So this is what I woke up to today....

That combined with the bullet proof sunglasses he also got, has made for a bit of a sad day. I'll get over it, but today it seems real.
Jim is going to Iraq first week in Jan. It's just part of life, and it's o.k. but today I'm feeling sad about it.

I'm sorry! How long will he be gone?

Wow - I had no idea that there was any such thing as bullet-proof sunglasses. But I'm glad that they exist.

I just heard from Dain that it is official, I was actually thinking about you today and about the looming deployment and then I checked your blog...just know that we will be here to help! I get all choked up just thinking about deployments! Talk to you soon.

I had no idea that it was a possibility. I am sorry that he will be leaving soon! How long will he be gone? We will keep your family in our prayers. Call if you want to talk...I am almost always home :)
Enjoy the holidays!

Oh no. I can't imagine you and Jim not together. And I don't really want to.

I had the honor to be stationed with your husband in Greenland. I know he will do great things in that country like he did in Greenland. I'm finishing up my tour in Afghanistan here in the next month! I know you will support him like my family supported me during my time away. I hope the time apart passes very quickly and the joy of his return will be in your life sooner then you will know.
