After many months of preparation, Kimrie now has braces! If I were still ten, I would be very jealous! I wanted braces so bad! Let's be honest, I'm still jealous, I could use some braces. I weaseled my way into watching the braces put on her teeth. It is really interesting. You know you're old when you think things like: "Well I'll be!" So, after the appointment we went to Sonic to get a milkshake and a diet coke for me. Jim called to see where we were. He could barely stand it. We walk in the house and there is Jim with a big smile on his face. He grabs Kims saying "let me see!" Next thing I see is Jim peering into Kimrie's mouth with a vice grip on her head. Needless to say theres a bit of commotion about the braces. Then Jim points at Kimrie and says "I AM NOT OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE A KID WITH BRACES!" I must agree!

I could totally hear Jim's voice in my head when reading that! I would agree, too. I'm surprised we don't have one in braces yet. I'm sure that's soon down the road. Don't be too jealous - they're really not that fun!
Holy Cow!! I can't believe she has braces either...Erika wants braces too. She'll be so jealous. She looks so cute!
Let's face it Jim...you're old. Ha!
